We are looking for an Account Executive that can help us identify and create new business opportunities by entering into dialogue with potential customers, understanding their needs and ultimately proposing solutions to their challenges. Our first product ‘CARGO’ is now ready for a wider launch and we are looking for the right person to take this to market.

As one of the first members on our sales team, you will play an important role in shaping the sales process and driving growth. We are looking for an individual who is startup-minded, passionate about working in the intersection between technology and shipping and eager to help customers improve their seaborne logistics using technology.

Activities leading to success:

  • Work closely with the Business Development Reps to identify and create new qualified opportunities through phone calls, emails and meetings

  • Work closely with the chartering team in Oslo and Singapore to cultivate existing relationships and generate new leads

  • Manage the sales process from A-Z with focus on client meetings and closing deals

  • Demonstrate the CARGO platform to potential clients (Meetings and video-conference)

  • Gather customer feedback and take part in product development

  • Take part in the development and optimization of our business development process

  • Mentor and lead Business Development Reps.

  • Attend trade shows, industry conferences etc. to meet potential customers  

  • Contribute to the establishment of scalable sales processes (systems and structure)

 

This is you:

  • You have 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain, either from shipping, management consulting or shipping/logistics SaaS products

  • Bsc. or Msc. within relevant fields

  • You are a natural relationship builder and have a solid track record of business development

  • You have no problem with consulting high level stakeholders/ executives

  • Excellent English language skills

  • You enjoy both high level discussions and hands-on work

  • You have the founder mentality: you know you have to carry your own weight in order for the company to be successful
