Oslo, 26 March 2025 – Klaveness Digital is entering a new chapter as the dedicated home for all digital services within the Klaveness Group. This strategic move, announced by Torvald Klaveness, strengthens the Group’s commitment to innovation and positions Klaveness Digital at the center of its digital development efforts.

With Ingrid Kylstad stepping in as Managing Director, Klaveness Digital will expand its role as an innovation engine in the Klaveness Group —enhancing and commercializing existing products such as CargoValue, and accelerating the development of new, data-driven technologies that support smarter, more efficient maritime decision making

"Klaveness is built on a strong foundation of customer-centric innovation, and Klaveness Digital is no exception," said Ingrid Kylstad. "Our industry is in a moment of rapid transformation, and we have a unique opportunity to help our customers navigate complexity and drive efficiency. I’m excited to lead our team as we scale solutions that make maritime supply chains more resilient and cost effective."

A stronger platform for digital growth

As the maritime industry continues to shift toward data-driven decision-making, consolidating all digital initiatives under Klaveness Digital enables a sharper focus on product development, go-to-market strategies, and innovation. This move aligns with the Klaveness Group’s broader ambition to improve seaborne supply chains through smarter digital solutions.

By bringing together digital expertise under one roof, Klaveness Digital will continue to build software solutions for raw materials producers, shipowners and chartering managers.

Looking ahead

Klaveness Digital’s immediate focus will be to advance its products within Supply Chain and Commercial Shipping Solutions.

"Our strength lies in combining deep industry insight with digital capability and a customer-first mindset," Kylstad added. "Our tag line is really for shipping people, by shipping people. This next chapter is about scaling our impact and laying the foundation for a more efficient and resilient shipping industry and maritime supply chain."
